POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy11 months agoA. Most babies begin to roll over between 4 to 6 months of age. However, every child develops at their own pace. Here’s a general timeline for rolling:
Rolling Milestones:
3 Months: Your baby may start showing signs of pushing up during tummy time, but rolling over may not occur yet.
4 to 5 Months: Many babies begin to roll from tummy to back first, as this is usually easier.
5 to 6 Months: Babies often start rolling from back to tummy, developing better control of their movements.
Encouraging Rolling:
Tummy Time: Provide plenty of supervised tummy time to strengthen your baby's neck, shoulders, and back muscles.
Playtime: Place toys just out of reach to encourage your baby to reach and roll towards them.
Safe Environment: Make sure your play area is safe, as babies can roll unexpectedly.
If your baby hasn’t rolled over by 6 months, it’s a good idea to discuss this with your pediatrician during a routine check-up. They can assess your child's development and provide guidance if needed.
