Q.

##asktheexpert When we give formula milk, standard measurement is 1 scoop in 30 ml water, 2 scoop in 60 ml water and so on. But once it is ready, the actual quantity is turned out to be more. Why is that so? What should be consider as a quantity? For eg, when I add formula milk 3.5 scoops in 105 ml of water then final quantity becomes 120 to 125. What is the actual volume then?

A. So if we add 30 ml water with 1 scoop formula milk, which becomes 40 ml later on, so what should be the actual consumption of milk by the baby? Is it 30 ml or 40 ml?

A. Ma’am you are right there is nothing wrong in what you are saying but the procedure to make it is at the same with 30 ML of water to one scoop of milk is going to be about 40 which is completely fine because when you add something to water is going to rise and that’s actually the amount of milk that the child can easily have even if the child is going to heat is going to be on 10 ML that the child is going to leave which is completely fine there is no problem in that so you have to make it as per the instructions on the packet
