#asktheexpert When does baby start teething...he is 9 months old..has irritation in gums..keeps crying at night

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicfone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimges more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .

A. Become your baby’s chew toy Depending on whether this is their first tooth or not, you might let your baby gum at your fingers. Just make sure that your fingers are clean before you let them have fun. For added comfort, dip your fingers in cool water to help calm their gums.
