#asktheexpert what to do if baby stop's drinking mother's milk?

A. Baby might be having nipple confusion because of which the baby might stop taking mother’s milk. Or see if the baby has any oral ulcers or teething because of which the baby is avoiding breastfeeding

A. hi mother's milk is best food for a child so try different feeding positions. cuddle your child before you start feeding, make skin to skin contact while feeding your child. it will help to encourage your child to take more feeds. keep the environment calm and dark while feeding. avoid distractions. make changes in your diet and avoid using perfumed cosmetics because sometimes babies reject their feeds when they don't like particular smell and taste.
