#AskTheExpert What sounds about a baby be making at 7 months ? Mine just says ah-ah and sometimes ga-ga.....screams and squeals when happy. Laughs very less (though he smiles a lot. )

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. My baby will turn 8 months old in a week's time. He is making a lot of ahhh, oooooh sounds both in response to me talking to him and while he is playing by himself. I am worried he is not making other sounds like ba-ba and gu-gu. Is this normal ? usually by what age should the baby be making such sounds ?

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with this question you will hear a lot of cooling and babbling sounds so don't worry about it it's very very normal just make sure that when you hear these bubbling sound you are responding you can just say anything but make sure there's a response will stop you baby will understand what you are saying even if he doesn't respond back
