along with breastfeeding, you can include porridge, homemade cerelac, smashed banana, boiled and smashed potato, rice water, dal water, fruit puree, etc and yse ghee in her meal preparations.

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, usually the baby will get double the birth weight by six months. So you can calculate accordingly to your baby’s birth weight. If the baby weight is doubled then she is doing completely fine. Continue feeding until baby complete six months. From seventh month onwards you can start giving semisolid food like porridge, vegetable purees, fruit purée , Dal water, water. You can give five semisolid feed in a day with a gap of four hours between each feed. You can also give liquids like fresh fruit juice made at home without sugar and salt, Dal water, water. Always feed semisolid food in sitting position. Avoid salt, sugar, dry fruits, honey, citric fruits until Baby completes one year.Write Your Answer Here
