A child older than 1 year can have normal home cooked food but it should be less spicy and oily
Give small and frequent meals
The time gap between two meals should be not more than 3-3.5 hrs
Do not force feed the child
Include 1-2 fruits per day and 2-3 vegetables per day
Milk and milk products, dal, sprouts ( steamed ) , soya, eggs can be given as protein source
Avoid excess intake of bakery products , sugary drinks, chips and chocolate
6-7 glass of water
