any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like Kids Pro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended before two yrs of age.u can add flavours also to milk. avooid giving too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking milk properly the dairy prodjucts will be a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.

Include foods like oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, legumes, ghee, boiled egg, omelette, chicken and fish curry with rice, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, dalia, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, pan cake, waffle, seasonal fruits and 550-650 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
