Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. growth of the child can be ensured by fulfillment of proper nutritional requirement specially iron and vit D is required for better growth and cognition.one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of micro and macronutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like nangro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended ktcbefore two yrs of age.u can add flavours also to milk. avoid giving too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking milk properly the dairy products will be a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Let the child be physically active as much as possible and feel hungry before the next meal. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil. Communicate more with your child. Good luck and take care.
