Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. normally per se nails will not cause any problem but if they are dirty then yes it can lead to gastroenteritis in the child so it is very important to stop this habit

I suggest you please keep your child well hydrated with more liquid diet
please be careful next time
if you're child have any discomfort Please consult with your pediatrician about this matter
