Hello Dr, Doctor first prescribed moxikind cv drops and t minic drops when told that baby has severe cold since birth, after 4 days I went back again because after giving the above medicines baby is suffering from loose motions then he suggested oxofloxin and metronidazole syrup 5 ML thrice a day and Enuff xtra sachets twice a day for 5 days... Will this work for my 3 and half months old baby.. when I asked he said they are prescribed for infection..

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is not advisable to use the combination of ofloxacin babies less than 2 years of age please consult your doctor for appropriate medicines for such a small baby of 3 months only
