Q.

#AskTheExpert What is the diet plan for a 8 month baby? I give my baby oats/ semolina kheer/ roti mashed in milk as breakfast. Mid morning snack is usually skipped because he gets up late so I breastfeed him. Then for lunch I give rice with diff veggies/lentils/paneer/ chicken/mutton soup with rice. Then evening meal is usually banana or any other fruit. Dinner is khichdi/rice with veggies/ lentils etc. He does not like to have egg so I mash it with khichdi sometimes. Is it all fine? Anything wrong or any additions?

A. Yes it’s fine if baby is accepting it well and usually chicken and other non veg foods should be introduced after 10 months of age and even egg but if you have started and baby is digesting it well then no issues
