Hi you should consult with your nearest Pediatric dentist for proper clinical examination of this condition.. usually gums show white swelling before the eruption of milk teeth and you can gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip to facilitate the eruption process of teeth

Hi Will you can search it online you know what it is called because I also do not remember the exact words but kids have their teeth after the age of 12 weeks not before that so you can only see when the progress is happening maybe the child is in between but it will happen mostly after completing the age of three months for me
