ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. should be around 12-14 kg . in case baby looks very lean.. you should deworm your child and start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning ideal weight is 12 kg. Check if baby is gaining adequate weight. In the initial 3 months, babies put on about 1 kg each month. From 3-6 months, weight gain reduces to 1/2 kg/month. from 6-9 months, it becomes 1/3, and for 9-12 months, it settles to 1/4 kg. the birth weight doubles in the 4th month and triples when they reach 12 months of age
