ExpertArchanaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hi Mom after completion of 6 months, you can include variety of weaning foods like rice water, dal water, porridge, homemade cerelac, fruit puree, vegetables puree, smashed banana, chiko, potato, clear veg soup, etc along with breastfeeding.
slowly introduce any new food and check if any discomfort, allergy or intolerance.
gradually increase consistency as per baby's appetite.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours.
maintain good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.

Start with dal water initially
It’s rich in nutrients and easy to digest
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after every feeding
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Maintain hydration
Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals etc
