ExpertArchanaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hi Mom, once your baby completes 6 months, you can start with weaning foods like rice water, dal water, porridge, homemade cerelac, fruit puree, vegetables puree, smashed banana, potato, chikko, clear veg soup, etc along with breastfeeding.
slowly introduce any food to baby and check if any discomfort, intolerance or allergy
gradually increase quantity of food as per baby's appetite.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours
maintain good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
