one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otbherwise.n
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water. Also, you can give rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, chicken and fish curry with rice, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, dalia, pan cake, waffle, boiled egg, omelette, veg cutlet, veg sandwich and milk.
