Q.

#asktheexpert weight of my 3 yr old son is still 12 kgs since 1 year and his waist is so thin that he can still wear his 1 year old pants. Kindly suggest if this is normal or i need to take it more seriously and how can I increase his healthy weight

A. Namaste Mom, One is metabolism and body type of an individual . other is kids almost triple their birth weight by age of 1 and by age of 5 they double it up. his diet should include regular family foods now, you could probably give him eggs, chicken if preffered, other is dry fruits , nuts and seeds, legumes such as chana , lobia , rajma etc , dals, soya ,panner, fresh fruit milk shake, also you can add ghee to his meals,
