Hello ma’am There is no specific wait for an eight-month-old child I can just tell you that if your child is gaining somewhere on 500 g to 1 KG every month then that’s good and also if the weight like the birth weight triples by the age of 12 months then that is unhealthy and ideal weight gain as if the child is somewhere on 8 to 10 kgs by the age of 12 months and that is also very healthy weight gain
