Birthweight of a new born doubles by 6 months and triples by 1 year so according this the weight of your child is perfectly ok..
Also if the child is passing urine 6-7 times a day and achieving miles stones till now then do not worry about the weight ..

The weight gets double the birth weight by five months. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much
