POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. Babies crying at the same time every night inconsolably is often linked to a condition called infantile colic or evening fussiness, which is common in babies up to 3–4 months old. This usually happens due to immature digestion, gas buildup, overstimulation during the day, or a developing nervous system. Some experts also believe it's part of the baby's way of releasing tension. The crying often follows a pattern—same time each evening—and may last for a few hours. If the baby is otherwise healthy, feeding well, gaining weight, and shows no signs of illness, it's usually harmless and improves on its own. However, if crying is intense, accompanied by fever, vomiting, or refusal to feed, consult your pediatrician.
