Q.

#asktheexpert today we had 2nd vaccination (4th week) for my baby, can I use ointment for swelling and pain on my baby ? I found thrombophob oint is used for similar conditions, please clarify this. Thank you!

A. Apply any appointments also try to give cold sponging or cold fomentation but will always be the baby develops fever then it can be anything serious and take him to hospital

A. Yes You can definitely use it if you want to otherwise I would advise you to keep a cold pack or ice cube on to the area it will help in settling down the swelling and if your child has fever or your child has pain then you can give paracetamol to the child
