A. when the child has fever and pain when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Paracetamol can be given in the cases where the fever is there also your child is having a lot of pain after vaccination but if the child is fine there is no fever there is no pain then there is no need of giving paracetamol to the child so please don’t give it as of now
