you need to stop saying no in each and every matter.
give choices but not too many choices.
it will make your child feel confident and having control on things so there is no scope for arguments.
for example
you can give choices for wearing t-shirt ,you can give choice by asking your child which color t-shirt ,red or green ,he or she want to wear ?
Never argue with your child.
tackle this phase calmly and tactfully.
