Q.

#AskTheExpert There is white white in my baby’s ear looks like curd deep inside , what can it be ? Is it infection or something else ? Also my baby’s eye get stick due to some sticky release from eye

A. hi, it might be ear wax or fungal infection.. good to che k it first with paediatrician in person. You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool.

A. good evening if it is anything oozing out of ears definitely could be an indication of infection I would recommend you try to visit your pediatrician for proper clinical examination so that the medicine can be given accordingly

Q. since last 10-15 days i have noticed some white thing deep inside the right ear of my 5 month old baby boy. Also, from past 2-3 days i have noticed that my child frequently rubs his right ear. I had checked for pain by slightly pressing around that area but child does not react to it (may be no pain but not sure). I am confused whether that white thing deep inside the ear is wax, dirt or infection with puss. Attached is a pic showing white dot like thing inside the ear.
