#asktheexpert. There are some green patches on legs and back of my daughter. what's the reason for this? and will it disappear? in what time?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. birthmarks are very common in children and usually fade by one to maximum 2 years of age.
if they are not increasing in intensity and number then there is no need to worry.x
you can consult your doctor who will tell you regarding the birthmark and any complications if any which may be associated with it.

it should be Mongolian birth marks which are harmless and disappear by own
so as such no need to worry
but if it is increasing much,if child is showing other symptoms like irritability,low weight gain, please visit your pediatrician for once
