#asktheexpert The baby has stopped crying for milk.... She just puts her fingers or hand to mouth and starts licking

A. it is normal at this aage .This is physiological and normal for kids . No need to worry for this as it is according to the age of baby and usual process in growth . For examination can consult any doctor for any query related to same .

A. But That is not a sign of hunger most of the times if a kid is going to be hungry they will either cry or they will make up punch out of the palm so of course that your way you’ll come to know that the child is hungry I think this is just a casual habit of child
