#AskTheExpert sri two days back i hade visited hospital for my breast pain dr sait infection is their don't feed baby for two days nd eject milk when feeling heavy i have been ejecting but still my Brest is heave from when can I start feeding

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. If you’re getting milk as usual then you can feed the baby. Instead of ejecting you can directly feed the child as it empties the breast better. But If the doctor has given antibiotics which are not suitable during breast-feeding then don’t breast-feed. Using a breast pump as it helps and better pumping and evacuating the breast.Write Your Answer Here

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello you will have to express the milk whenever it fills up or you can even try keeping a warm compress over the area which can alsp help to get relief from the pain and makes you feel better and also comfortable and would be safe too else check with your doctor again
