#asktheexpert sometimes see blood in stool of my 2.5 yo boy. Preterm 6.5 months born with 2 months nicu stay. kindly suggest.

but if in case there is no hard stools still blood is present in the stool it may be indicator Of stomach infection Which needs to be treated as soon as possible

But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly.
