Hi mom the first step towards solids is you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of raw or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.
Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning at age of six months I would recommend that you should introduce semi solid food to the child I would recommend you to give dal ka pani rice water fresh fruit puree everyday
