Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely .
According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app.
Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol .
Presently children are not included in thkis list.
Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

Corona vaccine can be safely taken by feeding mother and also by pregnant women as per latest government guidelines but not for children . It can be taken even just after delivery of baby safely no need of worry only fever can be there for 2 to 3 days .

The data available currently about the impacts of the COVID-19 vaccine taken by mothers on their babies is unclear. The constituents of any vaccine entering int the breastmilk may be dissolved quickly after the milk gets digested.
