#asktheexpert sir my girl baby is 10 months now her weight is only 7 kg. Her birth wt was 1.8 kg . She isnot taking breast feeding directly. What i will do

A. hi weight is good enough nothing to get Panic for this but yes,to encourage your child for direct breastfeeding,I would suggest to give direct breastfeeding when your child is extremely hungry or wake up from sleep. or you can try different feeding positions make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which help to encourage your child to take more feeds
