Q.
#AskTheExpert sir, My girl baby aged 70days. She has not going for potty for 8 days onwards. And releasing gas from down with very bad smell as well baby crying while releasing gas. Urine Passing, cry for milk... all r as usual. Local doctor told to wait and refer domstal syrup & soferi syrup for meanwhile. So plz guide us.... what to do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies.
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be aevoided before 1 year of age

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Good morning, Formula-fed babies typically poop three to four times a day, but some go as long as three or four days without a bowel movement. As long as your baby's poops are soft and passed without a struggle, you don't have to be concerned. But call your pediatrician if your little one doesn't poop for more than five days.
