Q.

#AskTheExpert sir, my daughter is 5 and half months old. her birth weight was 3.5 kgs and she weighs 6.45 now. My paed says her weight gain is low and has asked us to start with rice porridge. is my baby's weight gain too low ? and is it safe to start with rice porridge before six months ?

A. hi, weight gain in low but weight is good.. and in normal range.. I would suggest you to start with complementary food after 6 months.. increase breast feeding.
