#AskTheExpert sir my baby sucks her thumb and then she ignore for the bottle feed for many tyms and some time she take 5 hrs gap for the next feed please suggest

A. no need to worry continue to breastfeed the baby at frequent intervals sucking of thumb is very commonly seen in babies this is a day of stimulation for the baby .

A. hi first ,why you are offering bottle feeds? please offer direct breastfeeding. all babies are different so they have their own specific sleep and feeding patterns. so please feed your child on demand. and if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day no need to worry about anything.
