#AskTheExpert Sir , my baby is 5months 23days old. The problem is that he does not passes his tools regularly. He is completely breastfed baby. Doctor prescribed Duphalac...but we can't watch any more good by using it. My baby passes his tools after 10 to 14 days. Is it normal?

A. no. get thyroid test. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

A. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfed babies sometimes might not be passing stools even for a week or more, it is normal as long as your baby is not showing symptoms of discomfort and accepting feeds. Check if mother’s diet is healthy and easily digestible. Do cycling movements with both the baby’s legs to relieve from discomfort.
