Q.

#asktheexpert Sir, my baby is 15 month old but his weight is not gain .I am giving him all kind of food (fruit, veggies, egg ) but his is not gaining his weight. Birth weight - 2.700 kg 15 month weight - 8.700kg

A. Hello mom a full term baby is expected to triple their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and then triple by the age of 1 year. then it takes about 5 years to double that up.

A. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry. Consistent growth — not exponential growth — is the key to baby's well-being
