#AskTheExpert sir my baby is 1 month and 3 days old . I give him breast milk but due to less supply his hunger is not satisfied. when he was born his weight was 2.3 kgs. and now he weighs 3.3 kgs. Dr. recommended pre Nan powder and in 30 ml 1 scoop at the time of birth. but sir I want to know how much quantity of pre Nan should I give him now.

A. hi dear Newborn babies should breastfeed 8–12 times per day for about the first month. Breast milk is easily digested, so newborns are hungry often. Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day.
