#AskTheExpert Sir my baby always end up having a big red mark after a mosquito bite...n it get swelled aftr tht...n turn into a blister like thing...pls suggest hw to stop this allergy. His legs hv become so dirty aftr thse marks of mosquito bite plus the irritation. pls help

A. it is it advisable to prevent mosquito bite by making the child wear full clothes and also use a mosquito net and the second option after that after the bite would be to apply t bact cream over it which will help in preventing the secondary infection as well as blister.

A. Hello dear parent! It is a normal finding in small kids. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your child. Try applying pure coconut oil on the affected area to reduce the discomfort. Try Babyhug mosquito repellent patches or lotions to keep away mosquitoes. Good luck and take care.
