Q.

#AskTheExpert sir my baby 6 month old. she was having 103.1F fever last night i gave her paracip drops at 2 am. still she hhas 99. fever. what should i do sir

A. Any temperature above 100 F is fever in babies Always measures temperature in armpits only.  No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F.  If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion  Treat that accordingly as per ur pediatricians advice. Keep ur baby well hydrated.  Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day.  Visit ur pediatrician once. e

A. Keep monitoring for temperature. try to place a wet cloth in forehead. This would reduce the heat instantly also Let the cloth not be too cold. Keep monitoring for temperature. If the temperature is more It's better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option.
