Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examinatiohjn is required to find the cause .
As a home remedy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppgressant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello give war! fluids and feed frequently which can help and in regards to the medication it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
