#AskTheExpert sir my 5 year daughter was suffering from fever cold and cough. I took the medicine. now she is good but coughing is continue which medicine I should give her

U Have to consult your doctor well before you go for any kind of medicine because it’s really very important right now viral is actually spreading it’s important that you take a proper consultation from your doctor and if the medicines you took previously you are not helping then we consult your doctor again

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintaingned .
