#AskTheExpert sir my 4 month old baby produces some cough type sound while playing etc...but he doesn't feels any other difficulty only that sound which is like wheesing sound..What consulting a pediatrician he says it will go when he grows up.. Is there any way to prevent this sound

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the sjoymptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
