#AskTheExpert sir, my 3 n half year old son is blinking his left eye in out of control... It has been a few days since.. moreover he has been suffering from conjuctivitis for months at a time. why is this so?.. pls explain

In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done to find out the exact cause so it is advisbable to cojgnsult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .

Excessive blinking can be caused by problems with the eyelids or anterior segment (front surface of the eye), habitual tics, refractive error (need for glasses), intermittent exotropia or turning out of the eye, the environment (changes in temperature or humidity, bright lights, or pain), and stress.check with your opthomolgist
