Q.

#AskTheExpert sir my 10 month baby is doing potty with some blood traces in it.he don’t have fever or any other problem.giving him oflax oz.plz suggest any medicine

A. and that case he is probably suffering from dysentery and you need to consult with your doctor personally who would examine the baby do a stool examination and start with proper medications

A. Hello, common cause of blood in an infant’s stool is a slight anal tear (fissure) from baby straining with the passage of the stool- give soft fibrous diet. Another common cause of blood in the stools of infants is food allergies- Try to rule out allergent food substance and avoid give it.
