#AskTheExpert sir mera beta kal one month ka ho jayega usko colic pain rehta hai? Dr. ne medicine de hai phir bhi usko bahut taklif hoti hai. hum se nahi dekha jata hai, pain k time beta pura red ho jata hai, rota hai, akada jata hai, or uska tummy bhi tight or fulla fulla rehta hai. please πtell me or kya kar sakte hai?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes know why this happens gas trouble is common in newborns and is a cause of discomfort . Give tummy time to baby . Give only exclusive breastfeeding to baby . Burp baby for atleast 20 minutes on shoulder after each feeds . Massage baby tummy gently . Give drops gastica 1 ml 2 -3 times a day .
Colic pain worsens at evening and night and baby cries at night and is unable to sleep due to pain . Give colic aid / drops meftal spas 0.5 ml at evening time . Breastfeeding reduces chances of colic pain .
