#asktheexpert Sir/Madam, Our one month old baby girl is having tongue tie and she is not able to take her tongue out of her mouth completely. we consulted the pediatrician here and he said you should wait at least one year to confirm that it is tongue tie. My question is, Do we have to wait one year to confirm that it is tongue tie? or do we have to give any treatment right away to avoid speech issues in future. Thanks in advance
