#AskTheExpert sir I have missed the polio dropwhich was on 17th march for my both kids one is 4.5 yrs old one is 1 yr old.pleae suggest shall I give it now

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has receivged polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine. For polio cg vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .
