ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. No there are no chances in every case that thyroid is being transferred to the baby but if you have a family history of hypothyroidism yes it may get transferred to your baby so just have a regular check up every 3 months

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. No you wont, There is no risk to the baby. Even in the autoimmune types of thyroid disease, the antibodies are too large to pass into the breast milk.
