Q.

#asktheexpert should we mix water in milk while giving it to my 18 months old child...he is breastfed and takes 1 small cup buffalo milk in a day..we dilute some water in that milk while boiling. is it fine practice? how much milk is enough for him when he is also breastfed 3-4 times a day.

A. Dear mum, you can give the milk directly as it is. There is no need to dilute it with water. The total milk intake for your baby should be around 500 ml every day including milk products like curd, paneer and breast milk.
